We monitor the baby's growth with external examinations and ultrasounds, but your blood pressure and the baby's heart are also checked at every check-up. We check your iron levels and any other deficiencies in the blood. Sometimes additional blood tests are needed. We will always announce this and discuss it with you. We also ask about how you experience the pregnancy and discuss any complaints you experience. Around 34 weeks of pregnancy, we will discuss the delivery. During these appointments, we will discuss the course of the delivery, the call instructions and your wishes.
Sometimes extra appointments or ultrasounds are necessary or desired. We will discuss this together. Are you not feeling well? Let us know. We are also there for you if you have gloomy feelings, worries or concerns.
