As a little girl I already knew for sure; I want to be a midwife! My youngest brother is 6 years younger and I liked to go with him to the midwife.

I graduated in 1997 and have been working in this practice since 1998 with great pleasure. All parents-to-be are unique, so are their pregnancy and childbirth, together they are all in the same phase of their lives: building a family and passing on life. That is and remains very special. Getting pregnant myself (with difficulty) and giving birth twice (once induced for a long time, epidural in the hospital and the second time in 1.5 hours at home) has not made me a better midwife, but a more sensitive one. Together with my husband and two daughters, I live in Oostzaan. Everyone has their own story in life and also their own unique pregnancy. I'm looking forward to yours! Welcome!
